Man vs. Machine
The classic literary conflict that has been used again and again since John Henry went up against a steam-powered rock drilling machine.
One of the more modern examples, however, comes from just a year ago when Baylor University’s associate athletics director for football operations, Sean Padden, took on a tackle dummy in a 40-yard dash.

Padden won the foot race, but he clearly did not win the war.
Maybe this attack was due to a programming malfunction or user error. To be fair, it’s called a “tackle dummy” for a reason.
Or it could be case of poor sports
But we all know it was a deep-rooted artificial intelligence manifesting itself in an eerily human-like act of vengeance. Sean drew some interesting parallels in an interview after the ordeal.

Every day that isn’t Judgment Day is a good day, people.
