Dad Hilariously Photoshops Toddler Into Dangerous Situations [UPDATED!]

Dads often get a bad rap for being good-time guys who can be a tad reckless with our kids. Some parents simply worry a little bit less than others and prefer to keep loose reins on our kids, instead of coddling them too much.
And some parents simply have great senses of humor and aren’t afraid of trolls.
Nothing makes your relatives more nervous – or the humorless denizens of the internet more outraged – than a parent who puts a kid in danger. Just ask Stephen Crowley! He’s found a hilarious way to provoke both groups with some creative photoshopping.
Crowley lives in Dublin with his wife and daughter, and he made quite a stir on Instagram – where his bio describes him as a “terrible father” – when he started sharing photos of his daughter in precarious situations.
It seemed the cheeky dad was merely having some fun with the humor-deprived denizens of the web. But the dad’s reasoning went deeper than that.
At four months old, his daughter contracted hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). âShe spent the next six months in the hospital receiving chemotherapy and ultimately a bone marrow transplant, which saved her life,â he told the New Yorker. The photos, which caused a user on Reddit to refer to him as the worldâs worst parent or the worldâs best parent,” were a result of Crowley âdesperately seeking a little humor in our lives.â
That humor revealed itself in strange ways, like the photo above of his daughter perched on a fence.
Or holding a knife…and sitting beside a clearly active oven top…
…scaling the side of a staircase…
…or climbing a ladder….
…walking on the edge…
…enjoying the breeze from a drive…
…taking a drive…..

…or hanging out…
…popping a wheelie (both are wearing helmets I might add)…
…buried at the beach…
And Stephen’s most recent update is sure to be a hit with the judges, err judgy…
He was also recently in a dangerous situation, though, no photoshop was required, just courage.
All of those photos received thousands of likes from people who got the joke and realized they are all photoshopped and not actual examples of a dad endangering his child for social media likes.
Except maybe this one. I can’t quite tell if this is real or not!
