“My dad embodies the term ‘dad,’ in every way possible.
He has dedicated his entire life to ensuring my sister and I had every advantage we could possibly have. Money didn’t come easy, he worked hard – with lots of overtime – but we never felt like he wasn’t there.
He attended every sporting event, every school recital; if we needed his support, he was there. He made sure we never went without, whether it was pricey sporting gear or a much needed hug, he provided it.
I have three kids of my own now, including a son, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s that I will never fail as a dad, because I learned from the best. It is the one thing I learned how to do: be a kickass dad.
If there is one man that should be considered ‘the dad’ it’s him.”
