“Having our son was the most exciting and traumatic experience of our lives. Knowing we were going to be first time parents, well… if you know you know.
I was induced on 10/20/2020 and I had a really rough labor process, pushing for 4.5 hours, just for him to be delivered via failed vacuum then forceps. Yikes, right? This guy though, my husband, was my rock, my cheerleader, my ice chip feeder and all star labor partner. I know people have a problem with saying “we gave birth” but if it wasn’t for him, I don’t know if I would make it through.
Coming home and experiencing PPD and PPA from the trauma of my personal birth experience and post-partum recovery he once again stepped up. I am completely in debt to this man and will forever thank him for helping me give birth to my son. Our son Taylor has such an amazing man to look up to (and our Great Dane Lucy, too).”
