“I always knew that my husband was tough, but the day he became our stay-at-home dad, he impressed me on a whole other level. The first years were so hard. We don’t have family close by and just a few friends to help out, so its been just us for a lot of this road. A lot of long days for him alone with a baby, wondering where the heck the manual on parenting is and improvising when the poop shoots out of the back of the diaper. So many pretend doctor appointments. Nails painted with scribbled marker. Beauty and the Beast viewings and singalongs. He’s been there every step of the way, teaching our daughter how to value her intelligence and be strong and kind. It’s so fun to see so many engaged and loving dads with their kids on this page-it reminds us that we are not alone in the triumphs and struggles of parenting.
Cheers to all those hard working dads out there-we moms appreciate you so so much!”
