Whether it’s feature-length films, new features on the Pottermore website, or upgrades to the massive theme park, J.K. Rowling continues to dip back into the wizarding world of Harry Potter again and again—and who wouldn’t? It’s like printing her own money.
That’s probably one of the reasons why the billionaire indie writer is prepping to release a brand new set of Harry Potter eBooks that will be available through her Pottermore Publishing imprint.
The four books, described as “non-fiction eBook shorts, adapted from the audiobook Harry Potter: A History of Magic,” are based on classes and lessons taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and delves deeper into the series’ magical history.

The first two books—Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions and Herbology—are scheduled to go sale on June 27 on the Pottermore website as well as Amazon, Apple Books, and Kobo. At only $2.99 a piece, expect these bad boys to sell like hotcakes.
Divination and Astronomy and Care of Magical Creatures have no release date at this point but don’t expect them to be too far behind. According to Pottermore, the books will also include sketches, manuscript pages, and notes.
Damn, J.K. You’ve got us yet again.
