In case you thought 2020 was done throwing curveballs, Turkey Dinner candy corn has arrived! That’s right, BRACH’s has an “innovative” new flavor of candy corn and it sounds like a complete horror show. It’s on the shelves right now at Walgreens, if you’ve ever wanted to know what meat-flavored candy tastes like.
Surely it can’t be that bad, right? What does Turkey Dinner candy corn taste like? Well, the aim to provide a full meal includes the following six flavors of candy corn: sweet potato pie (ok sure), cranberry sauce (fine), ginger glazed carrots (I guess), green beans (huh), stuffing (what), and roasted turkey (record scratch).
Behold! Turkey Dinner candy corn. Yes, this is real. @hustlekitten just found them at Walgreens, so naturally I called my nearest store. They had them in the back! Flavors include: Green Beans, Roasted Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, Ginger Glazed Carrot, Sweet… https://t.co/nshZm0zgiV pic.twitter.com/RVErQYBwCW

It sort of feels like BRACH’s is just trolling us. A spokesman for the company released a statement, which partly included: “We’re always innovating with trends and fun flavors, and we know this year is different than anything we’ve ever seen – much like our new BRACH’s Turkey Dinner candy corn.”
That can be translated into: this year is a mess, so why not insane flavors of candy?
If you want some fun new seasonal candy, at least the Hershey Company is there for you. Among their new Halloween offerings (which either are available now or will be hitting shelves very soon) are a Reese Peanut Butter Franken-Cup, which has the classic milk chocolate and a franken-green crème on the bottom. They also have Hershey Kiss Vampire Chocolates, which is just a chocolate kiss filled with a bright red strawberry crème (awesome). And they have a fun Cookies ‘N Creme Fangs, which is the basic cookie with a fang mold on them.
Some good news to brighten your day!

See, candy can still be fun. And if you want some holiday-themed candy that’s really gonna take a swing for the fences, this November you can get some Sugar Cookie M&Ms, which have no chocolate and just a cookie center. Is it taking a chance? Yes. Is it turning your candy into vegetables? Thankfully, no.
