This 2-Year-Old Has the Best Golf Swing in the World

2-year-old from Canada outperformed his competition from around the globe and has been crowned as having the best golf swing of any child under the age of 3. Yes, this is a real competition, organized by a golf academy in Florida, that is mainly judged through videos submitted from parents around the world (itâs rare that a 2-year-old is that good at golf and at uploading a video).
And of course, we love golf here, even improvised mini-putt courses and stars in other sports doing battle on the links. And before you think 2-year-old Jack Cantin won some rinky-dink competition, this is actually something people in the golf world care about (at least somewhat) as itâs judged by the greatest golfer who ever lived, Jack Nicklaus. Jordan Spieth is another one of the judges, so some of the top golf royalty is involved with this.
As for Jack, his parents say that golf is his main obsession (you know, like every other 2-year-old CEO out there), and that his path to the game started as a 1-year-old with a hockey stick. That origin story follows the path of another one of the gameâs all-time greats, Happy Gilmore.
For those of you who may think 2-years-old is awfully young to predict greatness in a game as complex as golf, why donât you tell that to 2-year-old TIGER WOODS making his first TV appearance?
His dad said he hopes young Jack follows âwhatever his passion is in lifeâ but wasnât surprised his son won the international golf swing contest, as he noticed early on the kid could swing.
“It was just so very fluid and it was just unbelievable even to me,” he told Sudbury.com. “I thought, that’s crazy. It’s been pretty amazing to watch him grow with bigger clubs.”
