Yesterday, news broke that the Food Network had re-upped with Guy Fieri, signing him to a three-year, $80 million deal, $50 million more than his previous contract, and making him the highest-paid chef on TV.
That’s more than $26 million a year, which makes him one of the highest-paid people in the world!
The Food Network is paying Guy Fieri $80 million over 3 years.
At $26.6M annually, Fieri would be the 15th highest-paid player in the NFL.

The man is a household name, regardless of how you feel about him. That said, you should probably change how you feel about him in light of all the good he’s done for restaurant workers and others affected by the pandemic. (Not to mention he was also feeding first responders.)
Fieri raised over $25 million for restaurant workers over the past year-plus of the Covid pandemic.
“You know, so many people work in the restaurant industry in multiple jobs, second jobs, single moms, single parents, students, retirees,” he told CBS. “And the restaurant industry is massively important to our communities. And so, when I saw this coming, I said, ‘We got to do something to get some money to these folks.’”
There’s no denying his good works, or his brand. Can’t begrudge the man for being rewarded for that!
