Finding the motivation to exercise isn’t always easy, but working out with a partner can help keep you accountable. The benefits of physical activity are undeniable – it strengthens your muscles and joints, lowers your blood pressure, and can make you slightly calmer. At least, that was the hope when one dad started an adorable workout routine with his baby daughter.
In a video that’s been viewed over 6 million times, mom and TikTok creator @babyznme explains her dilemma. Her young daughter, well, she’s a lot.
“Before her dad started training her, she was a psycho at meal times,” the on-screen text explains.
The TikTok opens with dad and baby in their home gym, each working at their level. Baby Z mirrors her dad, perfecting a weighted squat that would make any trainer proud.

“[The baby] Would climb on chairs and tables and jump on beds. Would endlessly run in circles yelling at the top of her lungs,” the text continues as the determined duo move on to lunges.
The father-daughter workout is undeniably dynamic. Weighted squats, lunges, and squats using the stairs, they even incorporate a trampoline for some added cardio. Parents around the world take notes, assuming the endearing routine helped Baby Z expend some of her overflowing energy.
“But now…” Baby Z’s mom reveals, “She still does all of that, but at least I get to swoon over their mini workouts together.”
To be fair, anyone who’s ever met an almost 2-year-old probably realized there was no quick fix for the chaos of toddlerhood. But the routine accomplishes so much more than staving off the terrible twos – it’s an opportunity to bond, it helps Baby Z strengthen her tiny muscles, and of course, it’s thoroughly freaking adorable.
