Babies are baffling. They’re completely clueless when it comes to things like basic self-care, yet they have some sort of radar that tells them how to find danger in any given situation. It’s exhausting, repeatedly stopping your baby from putting themselves in harm’s way. Rather than stressing about his baby’s admittedly impressive attempts to make a break for it, one dad reminded us how important it is to laugh at the absurdity of it all.
In a recent video, a TikTok user named Glen (@beleafinfatherhood) shared a play-by-play that gives the world’s best sportscasters a run for their money. Instead of a football game, however, this creative dad turned his son’s daring escape into the must-see event of the year.
Using a combination of voice narration and the familiar telestrator sketches reminiscent of NFL instant replays, Glen brings the scene to life. The video opens with the hero of the day, Glen’s baby Uziah, strapped securely into his car seat – or so it seems.

“Baby Houdini about to pull off the escape of a lifetime,” Glen begins. He scrawls the words “he’s a wizard” on screen, drawing an arrow and a wizard hat for dramatic effect.
Next, Glen turns his focus to one of Uziah’s teammates. “Big sister’s trying to cover for the man, but he’s giving off ‘Boss Baby’ vibes.”
“As soon as Dad closes the door,” Glen continues, “He looks left, looks right, picks the lock, then Hulk Hogans his way out of the seatbelt.”
Pressing the button to unlatch the straps tethering him to safety, Uziah does exactly that. Embodying the spirit of The Hulkster himself, Uziah pushes his chest forward to break free from his restraints. That is, until his former teammates turn on him.
“He popped his head out like he missed his bus stop, and then everybody starts snitching: big sister, big brother, other big brother.”
Ultimately, The Enforcer (mom) appears on the scene to give Uziah the signature Mom Look. In response, Uziah throws caution to the wind and smacks her right in the face. Undeterred from the mission at hand, she straps the rebellious baby back into his seat – for now.
“He has proven to me that nothing is baby proof unless it’s bulletproof,” Glen concludes – a lesson we all unfortunately learn firsthand.
