The Rock is always working. My man DJ is a legendary grinder who always seems to have another project in the works. Right now he’s out there relentlessly promoting his new Disney movie Jungle Cruise with multiple trailers, sending out set photos from his forthcoming Netflix action flick Red Notice with Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, collecting award nominations for his Young Rock sitcom, and being a girl dad to his adorable daughter.
Not only does the former WWE superstar bust his ass on his projects, but he also seems to have a great time doing it. No one is more enthusiastic about his movies than he is, and there is one project that seems to have him even more stoked than anything else, and that’s his entry into the superhero universe with Black Adam.
The DC antihero has been a dream character for The Rock for years, and now that the movie is finally filming, The Rock can’t stop gushing about it. He’s already raved about the script and the cast, and now he’s ecstatic about the costuming for his character.
He shared a look at his Black Adam on the set, praising the scale of the movie and reiterating that when he hits the screen, the DCEU will never be the same.
We have to admit that the photo he shared, while it doesn’t show much, does seem to indicate that the massive star will be responsible for some massive action. And some massive casualties, according to The Rock:
As we all know, superheroes have a code of justice and don’t kill the bad guys.
But, Black Adam does.
The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is changing.
Man in black.
Protector of his people.
